If you get stuck, Click is the shoot button, you can aim the bombs using wasd, random buttons on the keyboard also shoot. Controller support is a thing (south button to jump, east or west to shoot)

Great concept! I think you pulled it off very well!!
I like the movement and propelling yourself with the explosions, I like that it ramped up in difficulty, would like to see a lot more mechanics when you are able to update it! Good work!

Liked the music and the jump mechanics are good
I love how the mechanics are less is more, only jump and throw bomb. but you can do really clever stuff, like throw bomb up to cook it, and then throw down as it lands and get double rocket boost.
Indeed, I liked combining bombs together in a way similar to that. I would throw one bomb up, throw down another bomb afterwards, then throw down a 3rd bomb with the 1st bomb mid-air to propel myself further up into the air. Here's my score, not sure if I got all the collectibles but it was a nice time.
I use that tech to speedrun all the time lol
The bomb jumping is really nice. It would be really nice to have it shoot in the direction of the mouse so that diagonal jumping isn't quite as "clunky" where you have to move left to propel yourself to the right by clicking and pressing at simultaneously. Cracking job though, and congrats on the jam!
Yeah, about a sixth of people are getting stuck on room three because of this, I might need to put some text on the start screen or something saying (you aim with wasd)

I love the bomb jumping! The input is a little odd tho, maybe just because of itch. If I wanna throw down+left then I have to hold S and then hold A. It doesn't work the other way around.

this is super wel made but i had some trouble with the controls because it aims where you are walking, my feedback would be to have it aim where the mouse is pointing but this might all also just be a skill issue

This is a surprisingly good game. It's very similar to Celeste but Celeste is also good. Would recommend, if you make this an actual game I will gladly pirate it
